Cases and current affairs

To see the general requirements, please refer to the Instructions for authors.

These include bioethical cases, news and curren trelevant information on bioethics, institutional activities, and opinions on the content of the publication. Review and evaluation: The writings for the Cases and Current Issues section will be reviewed and evaluated for publication by the Editors.

- The manuscript must be written in Word processor, double-spaced, with normal margins, in 12-point Times New Roman font.

- The texts must include a title in Spanish and English; they do not necessarily need to contain an abstract, keywords, tables, or figures, unless justified by the body of the article itself.

- The total length must not exceed 750 words (approximately 3 pages) plus a maximum of 20 bibliographic references.

- For citation, the list of references, and the insertion of tables and figures, please adhere to the guidelines provided in the instructions for the "Articles and Contributions" section.

- The instructions regarding the letter of ethical responsibilities and submission, indicated for the "Articles and Contributions" section, also apply to contributions in these sections.

- The submitted manuscript must be accompanied by a letter addressed to the Editorial Committee of Gaceta CONBIOÉTICA, signed by all authors of the text, which should explicitly state: a. The sources of funding for the research. b. Any financial or personal relationships with other individuals or organizations that could lead to a conflict of interest related to the article being submitted, or a declaration that no conflict of interest exists. c. That the text has not been previously published nor is it under simultaneous consideration by another journal. d. That rights have not been previously granted. e. That the opinions contained in the article are the responsibility of the authors. f. That if the manuscript is accepted for publication, copyright will be transferred to Gaceta CONBIOÉTICA.

 

In the same letter, the authors must declare one of the following statements:

- I have not used any type of generative artificial intelligence for the drafting of this manuscript, or for the creation of table captions and/or figure legends.

- I have used generative artificial intelligence, specifically (name of the AI in question) in the drafting of this manuscript and/or in the creation of table captions and/or figure legends.
